BACK TO THE GOOD OLD DAYS IN TRAPANI, SICILY

Practically every home in our little town Buseto Palizzolo is connected to Internet, but there are some things from the past that we still hold on to.

Here is my daughter, Sicilian-Japanese singer Sayaka Alessandra  http://www.sayakaalessandraofficial.com/ drawing  fresh drinking water from a well.  So much better than bottled water!

I needed salt to cook my spaghetti so I went to the salt mines in Trapani. Salt from Trapani is exported all over the world.

  5. Hello S.S.,

Nice fresh & natural ingredients. It's good there is still a strong food culture left in our modern fast and poisoned food world. Many young don't even know the taste of real food. Brings back memories of Great Gradmothers traditional dishes.

    Take care,
    Mike
