  9. The flat peaches have become increasingly popular in Germany over the past five years or so; we call them Weinbergpfirsich, vineyard peach.

  13. we have prickly pear cactus growing wild here in texas. some folks make jelly from their pears. others let their beef cattle eat the pears by burning off the stickers from them. i have never eaten them. :)

  17. Those fruits look delicious. We have the prickly pears here growing in abundance. We also eat the pad of the cactus, as well, as a Mexican dish called nopales. Those peaches look great!
